Goal

Provide a full range of advisory services to AOC and Saudi Aramco in one or more of the assigned Human Reso ur ces areas and per form highly skilled analytical and/o r complex administrative functions to ensure the delivery of high quality HR Services and programs

Key Responsibilities

Provide input to advise AOC/Saudi Aramco employees on functions of assigned HR area, ensuring that employees receive equitable treatment and receive HR advice and services as per applicable law, internal policies and procedures
Ensure that execution of HR related items by the divisions and HR are within the applicable law, policies and procedures and according to the agreed timelines, and following best practice
Deliver input for operation plan, business plan and accountabilities and strategy direction on request.
Support, as assigned, special projects, long-range studies, and related activities, which are technical in nature and may involve several different HR functions
Resolve issues relating to (assigned) HR function and the assigned responsibilities
Support line activities within assigned HR functional area
Provide work direction to lower level professional and/or clerical staff in functional area
Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor or Senior Team member
Collect and analyze information relevant to assigned HR functions, in order to ensure an up-to-date service-level and continuous improvement.

Functional Specific Responsibilities

Domestic HR

  • Advise, coach and counsel AOC managem ent and employees on HR-rel ated queries and issues; at individual level, group level and division level
  • Provide r elated collegial support and undertake professional administr ative activities in a variety of functions, including weekly reporting of key HR metr i cs, record management, promotions/ reclassifi cations, Health Managem ent and employee benefits/ award programs
  • Function as an HR Business Partner for the assigned Divisions in AOC The Hague and/or the assigned AOC Satellite Offices
  • Coordi nate Employee Benefits Administration
  • Seek pro -active ly alignment with Business' strategy and objectives and integrate these in execution of tasks
  • Keep up to date on local labor law issues and advises management on new and/ or revised policies based on local labor law. Guide administrative staff on policy updates

  • Conduct or supports HR bus i n esspart ner meetings and/or provide specialist input from the area of exper tise


    Domesti c Recruitment

  • Estab lish recruitm ent procedures for assigned area of responsibility and tr anslates strategy into yearly recrui tment plans (incl. selecting r ecruitm ent sources, -tools, talent attract ion with a focus on em ploy er br anding)

  • Conduct personal and/or telephone interviews to determine qualifications, adaptability, and availability of candidates

  • Promot e viable candidates to propon ent organizations and negotiates off er acceptance and target st art dates with candidates

  • Provide staff support and employee & supervisor counseling on recruitment -related matt er s

  • Communic ate regularly with the assigned (applicable Division) Domestic HR Advisor/ Business Partner


    Training and Development & Planning

  • Advise AOC management on employee t raining and educational matters

  • Develop, implemen t, and evaluate formal and on-the-job training programs fo r AOC and subsidiary company employees and/o r Saudi Arab employees of Saudi Aramco

  • Ensure maintenance of the SAP PMP system

  • Develop and maintain company succession plans

  • Assist Saudi Aramco Management Development and Career Development Depart m ents by lo catin g hos t com panies in Area of Operations
     

Contacts

External

  • Daily with counterparts in Saudi Aramco and subsidiary companies
  • Occasionally with extern al companies and/or consultant s to gather information for analyses an d/ or studies
  • Occasionally with universities and other academic/trainingin stitutions (depending on assigned function)
  • Frequently with candidates (depending on assigned function)
  • Frequently with embassy personnel (depending on assigned function)

Internal

  • Daily within AOC to provide advice and consultation on assigned IR functions, and to implement policies
  • Daily with AOC and/or Saudi Aram co employees receiving services from the function to resolve problems
  • Frequently with AOC line management in administering procedures and systems
  • Regular contact with Recruitment and EEO in Saudi Arabia (Employment Branding & Attraction department)

Requirements

Bachelor degree (HR, MBA, International Business, or related field)
Excellent English skills, both written and verbally
A thorough knowledge of HR policies and practices
Minimum of 2 years work experience in HR, preferably in a multinational environment
Excellent Dutch or other Language skills (depending on assigned function)
