Goal
Provide professional advice and services to the daily activities of a Finance Unit in order to resolve complex finance issues, develop, recommend and implement changes to Finance policies and to successfully prepare financial forecasts, reports and other analyses ultimately aiming for providing the best possible business environment for AOC and its affiliates.

Key Responsibilities
Functional Specific Responsibilities
Finance Operations
- Act as a liaison between customers and internal AOC divisions on cost control problems and infractions of contract
- Coordinate Tax/Vat consultation and reporting
- Align with Treasury to ensure streamlining of processes
- Gather information in order to keep procedures up to date
- Coordinate the administration activities conducted for all personal income and corporate tax matters and coordinate the monthly payroll cycle
- Coordinate the implementation of new tax legislation and regulations pertaining to AOe's area of operation
- Provide assistance to Chapter 8 income taxes payments and coordinate shadow Payroll for Chapter 8
- Provide pension advice and support to local personnel
Business Control
- Lead the development and continuous improvement governance framework for AOC and its subsidiaries, advice on complex matters.
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of policy management framework
- Maintain and support of AOC Enterprise Risk Management framework. Together with the Management team, facilitate annual risk evaluation process.
- Monitor the implementation of risk treatments. Maintain and report on risk register.
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of audit follow up process and related reporting
- Advise Divisions on implementation of audit observations
- Lead the development and enhancement of financial planning and budget performance processes including system optimization and reporting
- Prepare in-depth analysis, share financial information and discuss with Management Team
- Act as an advisor on financial planning and budget performance compliance matters
- Leadthe development and continuous improvement of affiliated and external party portfolio
- Provide advisory to the external and affiliated customers and AOC stakeholders
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of vendor financial assessment processes, procedures and reports
- Advise on use of risk mitigating tools such as performance, bank, parent company guarantees
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of policies and procedures related to contract review and cost compliance controls
- Perform contract review and cost compliance activities
- Provide advice and analytics on cost management and cost compliance related matters
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of insurance management process
- Analyze organizational risks exposure for possible extension of insurance coverage
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of internal control framework
- Report control weaknesses and deficiencies, advise on controls design improvement
Accounting, Treasury & Tax
- Coordinate Bank Guarantee Management
- Provide high level Treasury advise to treasurer

- Periodically with Public Accountants
- Periodically with affiliate company personnel regarding financial matters of mutual concern
- Periodically with service organizations, vendors, banks and Saudi Aramco Finance Business Lines regarding finance issues
Internal
- Daily with other Finance personnel at all levels regarding financial data and procedures
- Frequently with Contracting Unit on matters related to proponents to contracts
- Frequently with all levels of AOC professional personnel to improve finance operations and to exchange value added advisory services
