Goal

Provide professional advice and services to the daily activities of a Finance Unit in order to resolve complex finance issues, develop, recommend and implement changes to Finance policies and to successfully prepare financial forecasts, reports and other analyses ultimately aiming for providing the best possible business environment for AOC and its affiliates.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare budgets, forecasts and variance reports for the business including Management Reports
Prepare Board presentations for the Finance Coordinator
Coordinate the End of Month Financial processes and financial statements
Review detailed procedures and guidelines, these include conducting review of company finance and accounting guidelines and office manual
Enforce procedure compliance throughout AOC and coordinate internal and external audits on behalf of the Finance Unit
Advise the Finance Supervisor on complex finance issues

Functional Specific Responsibilities

Business Control

  • Review Business Plan, Operating Plan, Accountability Reports
  • Preparations of budgets, forecasts and variance reports for the business including Management Reports
  • Implement Governance, Risk & Control (GRC) framework for AOe's Group
  • Coordinate manual of approval authorities
  • Monitor accesscontrols in SAP POH and SAP PRC
  • Set up and execute a system of Continuous Monitoring to ensure controlled business activities within AOC Group
  • Set up, coordinate and monitor Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) activities
  • Prepare reports and presentations on the aforementioned subjects (ERM, GRC) Monitor and report followup on Internal Audit findings for AOC Group
  • Review detailed procedures and guidelines, including incorporation into AOe's office manual excluding Finance and Accounting guidelines
  • Support ad-hoc requests


Accounting, Treasury & Tax

  • Coordinate preparation of financial and management reporting to Saudi Aramco and the AOC Management team on a monthly basis
  • Coordinate preparation of AOC statutory Financial Statements in conformity with EU-IFRS
  • Manage Tax compliance in AOe's area of operation
  • Manage and maintain AOC Tax Control Framework
  • Ensure external compliance Tax reporting
  • Manage hedging currency exchange risks with regards to AOe's standalone operations

  • Periodically with Public Accountants
  • Periodically with affiliate company personnel regarding financial matters of mutual concern
  • Periodically with service organizations, vendors, banks and Saudi Aramco Finance Business Lines regarding finance issues


Internal

  • Daily with other Finance personnel at all levels regarding financial data and procedures
  • Frequently with Contracting Unit on matters related to proponents to contracts
  • Frequently with all levels of AOC professional personnel to improve finance operations and to exchange value added advisory services
  • Regularly with President & CEO

Requirements

Master degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field
Fluent in English
20+ years of considerable experience within Finance
