The Role

Lab Scientist – Fuel/Lub lab. GC12/13

Our research focuses on the co-optimization of fuel and engine systems, technology demonstration in collaboration with various stakeholders, and strategic transport studies across the road, aviation, and marine sectors. In addition, the Division supports Aramco's growth plans by building R&D capabilities in house as well as through close partnerships with other Aramco affiliates and external service providers globally.

 

The team in Paris are seeking a Lab Scientist focused on fuels and lubricants analysis.

 

Primary Focus of the role:

1. Fuels/Lub (and SAF) analysis, development of internal analysis methodology based mainly on Gas Chromatography (GC) and HPLC

2. Fuels/Lub analysis, development and application of ISO/CEN/ASTM  standard analysis methodology

3. Follow F1 car racing and be able to analyze on site (race) fuels

4. Fuels/Lub data analysis and interpretation

5. Manage technical exchanges with internal project stakeholders, analytic tool contractors and development partners for novel analytical technologies.

Long Description

Responsibilities:

Technical scientist with an experience of minimum 5 years in GC/HPLC analysis.

Excellent analytical skills

Ability to establish analytical report.

 

Requirements:

Hold a BSc/MSc or equivalent degree in Chemistry

Have undertaken analytical measurements, written reports related to the topics of interest

Show evidence of being able to work constructively in a team and able to follow F1 car racing

Demonstrate the ability to apply analytical methodology and communicate with various stakeholders in R&D development and transport sector industry.

Full proficiency in English, knowledge of French appreciated
