Engineer for Internal Combustion Engine Development
Our research focuses on the co-optimization of fuel and engine systems, technology demonstration in collaboration with various stakeholders, and strategic transport studies across the road, aviation, and marine sectors. In addition, the Division supports Aramco's growth plans by building R&D capabilities in house as well as through close partnerships with other Aramco affiliates and external service providers globally
The main objective of this internship is to support the development of combustion engine innovative concepts by simulation and testing activities.
Skills and requirements:
- Studies in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive engineering, Chemical Engineering
- Show evidence of being able to work constructively in a team
- Full proficiency in English, knowledge of French appreciated
Scope of Work – Main activities:
- 0D-1D Model development of internal combustion engine systems and system evaluation through simulation
- Engine data analysis and engine combustion process interpretation. Thermodynamic and Combustion Analysis.
- Development of data post-processing tools in Python, MATLAB or other programming language.
