Key Responsibilities

 

 

Financial Management & Variance Analysis

 

  • Manage monthly accruals and ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Conduct monthly variance analysis and report discrepancies to budget holders
  • Deliver monthly management information reports to the Head of Department
  • Provide ad-hoc financial reporting as required

 

Business Reporting

 

  • Prepare and present reports for annual UK Board of Directors meetings
  • Coordinate quarterly business reviews and consolidate management input
  • Support budget holders in developing detailed business plans aligned with company goals
  • Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual operational performance reports, including KPI analysis
  • Produce ad-hoc reports to support strategic decision-making

 

Qualifications and Attributes

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or ACCA/CIMA part-qualified
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial management, ideally within the oil industry or a service-oriented environment
  • Strong experience with OpEx and CapEx
  • Familiarity with IFRS and IFRS 16 (desirable)
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite; SAP S/4 Hana experience is a plus
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
